Delivery Board

One live dealership delivery board for every car going home.

See every scheduled vehicle delivery, who owns the next action, and what is still blocking the handoff. Sales, finance, vehicle prep, back office, and managers work from the same live board before the customer arrives.

At Risk
Three deliveries stacked between 5:00–6:00 PM — spread the load.
What's inside

Built around how the work actually happens.

Appointment coordination

Slot deliveries by hour, see overloaded windows instantly, and stop double-booking the same coordinator.

Checklist visibility

Every delivery carries its own readiness checklist — keys, gas, plates, walk-around, insurance — visible to the whole floor.

Delivery timing logic

Delivery Day OS scores each appointment against real-world prep time so risk surfaces hours before the customer pulls up.

Role-aware views

Salespeople see their deliveries. Managers see the whole floor. Recon sees what's coming. Same data, right cut.

Clear ownership

Every delivery has a named salesperson and coordinator. No more 'I thought you had it'.

One source of truth

Finance, recon, sales, and back office update the same record — the board always reflects reality.

Who uses this workflow

Built for the people moving the cars.

  • Salesperson
Only the deliveries they own, with the next action surfaced.
  • Sales Manager / GSM
The whole day, by hour, with risk and ownership visible.
  • Delivery Coordinator
    What's ready, what's blocked, who's arriving next.
  • GM / Dealer Principal
Floor-level rollup — readiness, blockers, and on-time delivery.
Chaos it prevents

The fire drills this kills.

  • Whiteboards that nobody updates after 11 AM.
  • Two salespeople delivering into the same 4:00 PM slot.
  • Customer in the lobby and nobody knows whose deal it is.
  • Cars 'almost ready' an hour after the appointment.

What does a dealership delivery board do?

It connects the appointment to the work needed to make that appointment possible. For each sold vehicle, the board shows the delivery time, assigned people, readiness tasks, and open blockers. The team can see what changed without collecting updates from separate whiteboards or group texts.

For example: a 4:00 PM handoff is at risk

  1. Spot the blocker

The vehicle still needs cleanup, so the delivery appears at risk before the customer reaches the showroom.

  2. Give it an owner

The prep team sees its next task while sales and the manager see the same status and can decide whether the appointment needs attention.

  3. Confirm readiness

As each department updates its work, everyone can check what remains before calling the vehicle ready for handoff.

Your DMS remains the system for deal and accounting records. Delivery Day OS gives the store a shared view of the operational handoff between sold and delivered.
